Video Conferencing

The topics all fit and relate to one another. I did not know that all these topics, that have been presented in class, could be linked to education and how teachers and students can suffer by participating in the crime.

If my lesson dealt with the use of a computer, such as or research for a project or assignment I would inform the students of the different types of fraudulent sites and events that could happen. I would teach them the sign of pharming, phishing and vishing.
My group and I have used skype for the previous presentation, and it worked out successfully. However, Skype for business, was not as easy as the original Skype. From the demonstration from class, my group and I wanted to use Skype for business to video chat and work on our content for our presentation. Skype for business, allows one to have a conference call with a total of 250 people, record while in the conference and share documents simultaneously (Microsoft, 2018).
The variety of web conferencing tools that were introduced to my group and I was very helpful. Throughout the duration of the project, my group mostly used Google Hangouts because of the convenience of the app, and how similar it is to another instant messenger that my group and I come to love.
Another tool that my group and I used is Survey Monkey. Survey Monkey (2018) is a website where you can create custom surveys online and share it via email, embedded links, social medias, and so much more. However, one can post their survey to a website and the user could access the survey without being redirected to the Survey Monkey website. Survey Monkey allows collaborators to edit the survey, which was a major plus, which did push this part of the presentation all on one person. There is the link to the website my group and I worked on http://digitalsafetypp.jigsy.com/about
For this assignment, I would recommend a more concrete list of objectives for the presentation. My group did spend some time deciding on what we should or shouldn’t have included in the presentation. However, despite all this all groups seemed to have similar subtopics, such as consequences, penalties, and quizzes as the audience interaction.
